Both doctors graduated from Florida Southern College here in Lakeland before going to medical school together.

They graduated from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines Iowa.

Dr. Janice had her residency at the VA medical center in Denver and Dr. Alvo had his at the VA medical center in Leavenworth Kansas

The doctors have over 28 years experience each with over 25 years back in Lakeland. They have been married over 32 years.
